OpticOdds vs DraftKings API
OpticOdds is a sales-led multi-book feed with native props and streams. This API is self-serve DraftKings observations. A sourced, dated comparison.
Editorial review: · Not a live coverage report
The short version
OpticOdds is a much broader product. It claims 100+ sportsbooks and DraftKings main lines, alternates, props and futures, with grading. This site is a narrower, self-serve API for observed DraftKings Pick6, DFS and ESPN-attributed mainline data, with published prices. If you need DraftKings sportsbook props beyond a narrow New York NHL scope, or a low-latency multi-book feed, OpticOdds is the stronger fit on its stated scope.

Where OpticOdds is stronger
On its stated scope, OpticOdds covers things this service does not offer.
- DraftKings sportsbook props, alternates and futures, where this service supplies only narrow New York scopes and no alternates or futures.
- Many sportsbooks in one feed, where this service covers DraftKings only.
- Streams for odds and results across sportsbooks, with a stated millisecond latency.
- A two-month historical window for pre-match odds, compared with history here that began around 2026-11-03.
- A grading endpoint. This service has no public one.
- Sales-led contracts, if your organization buys that way.
Where this API may fit better
This service is narrower but quicker to try. It suits small projects and DraftKings-specific research.
- Published prices and a free plan, so you can test today with no sales step. Free includes 500 requests/month at 20/minute; Developer is $49/month with 10,000 requests/month at 60/minute; Production is $149/month with 50,000 requests/month at 120/minute.
- DFS contests, slates and roster-slot salaries in one API with Pick6 rows.
- Row-level capture clocks and provenance, with unknown venue clocks left null.
- Signed webhooks for Pick6 changes on Production, a delivery form OpticOdds' FAQ says it does not offer.
Questions to ask before signing
These were not stated on the public pages we read. Ask OpticOdds' sales team if they matter to you.
- Any price, and the length and limits of a trial.
- How often DraftKings lines refresh, measured for your sport, beyond the general latency claim.
- How Pick6 multipliers appear in its payload, beyond the separate sportsbook IDs.
- How the public terms' restriction on "revenue-generating" use applies under a paid contract source.
Test both on the same market
Do not decide from a table. Spend fifteen minutes on one sport and one market you care about.
- Pick one upcoming game and one Pick6 stat or sportsbook market you know.
- Pull the same market from each provider and record the capture or update time each one states.
- Compare against what the DraftKings surface shows at that moment, by hand.
- Pull history for one line that you watched move.
- Note what happens to paused or removed rows, and read the rights language for your use case.

Questions
Does OpticOdds have DraftKings player props?
Its DraftKings page claims props, alternates and futures alongside main lines. We have not measured that coverage. This service supplies native sportsbook props only for New York NHL Shots on Goal.
Does OpticOdds publish prices?
Not on the date checked. Its pricing page is a contact form, and API keys are issued through a request form.
Is this API a replacement for OpticOdds?
Only for a narrow job: DraftKings Pick6 and DFS observations and mainline context. It is not a multi-book or low-latency replacement.
