Terms of Service
The rules for using this API and website.
Effective November 4, 2026. Operated by DD Inc. Questions go to support@draftkingsapi.com.
Agreement
draftkingsapi.com (the “Service”) is operated by DD Inc. (“we”, “us”). These Terms apply when you create an account, use an API key, call any endpoint or visit the site, and by doing any of those you agree to them. If you use the Service for a company, you agree on its behalf and confirm you can.
What the Service is
The Service is a developer API and website that publishes stored observations of sports data, with the time each one was captured. Coverage is partial and changes over time. Sources and status shows what is currently captured.
The Service is independent, not affiliated with or endorsed by DraftKings. No sportsbook, league or team sponsors or approves it. Their names are used only to describe the data, and all trademarks belong to their owners.
No wagering, no advice
The data is information, not advice. The Service does not place, recommend or settle entries or bets. You decide what to do with the data and you carry the outcome. Follow the law where you and your users are, including age limits and rules on fantasy contests and sports wagering.
Your use of the data
You are responsible for your own use of the data, including anything you publish, display to others or sell, and for obtaining anything that use requires from third parties. We make no promise that a particular use is permitted. Take your own legal advice where it matters.
Data provided as is
The Service and all data are provided “as is” and “as available”. Rows can be late, missing, changed or wrong, sources can change or stop, and the Service can be interrupted. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim every warranty, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Paid plans buy a larger allowance and delivery features, not a service-level agreement.
Accounts and API keys
- Give a real email address, and keep your password and API keys secret. You are responsible for activity under them.
- Keep keys on your server. Do not publish them, sell them or share them outside your organization. Revoke a key at once if it leaks.
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.
Acceptable use
You may not:
- get around request limits or plan allowances, including by creating several accounts;
- probe or attack the Service, interfere with other users, or try to reach systems or data you were not given;
- use the Service to break any law or anyone else’s rights;
- say or imply that we, DraftKings or anyone else endorses you.
Limits are on the pricing page. A request over a limit receives a 429 response.
Plans, billing and renewal
- The Free plan costs nothing and needs no card. Paid plans are Developer ($49/month) and Production ($149/month), billed monthly in advance in US dollars through Stripe, our payment processor. Prices exclude any taxes that apply.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in the Stripe billing portal, which you reach from your account. Cancellation stops future renewals.
- If a payment fails or a subscription lapses, your account can move to the Free plan until it is paid.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email. A new price applies from your next renewal after the notice, and you can cancel before then.
Refunds
Payments are not refundable, including for partial months and unused requests, except where the law requires a refund. If you were charged in error, write to support@draftkingsapi.com within 30 days and we will look at it in good faith.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service at any time, and ask us to delete your account by writing to support@draftkingsapi.com. We may suspend or close an account, or revoke keys, if you break these Terms, create risk for the Service or other users, do not pay, or if the law requires it. We may discontinue the Service. If we do, we will give paid subscribers at least 30 days’ notice and refund any prepaid period we do not provide. The sections on your use of the data, data provided as is, liability and governing law survive termination.
Our content and yours
The software, documentation, site design and compiled history belong to us or our suppliers. While your account is in good standing you may use them through the Service under these Terms. Code you write against the API is yours. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, winnings, data or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims about the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the event that gave rise to the claim. For Free plan users that amount is zero. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they apply only as far as your local law permits.
Indemnity
If someone brings a claim against us because of how you used the Service or the data, or because you broke these Terms, you will cover our reasonable costs of that claim, to the extent the law allows.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless the law where you live gives you a right to bring them elsewhere.
Changes
We may update these Terms. The effective date above changes when we do, and for a material change we will email account holders first. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept it.
