How do ESPN IDs relate to DraftKings IDs here?
They are separate. Statistics and context rows use numeric ESPN IDs. ESPN-attributed sportsbook event IDs embed the same ESPN event number at the end of a longer string. Native sportsbook, Pick6 and DFS use their DraftKings source IDs. No mapping between ESPN and DraftKings identities is supplied or inferred.

Sportsbook to statistics
A sportsbook event_id looks like espn-draftkings:espn:NBA:401909925. Its last segment is the number the statistics and context filters take as event_id. Other retained samples can use other sources, so confirm the prefix before you split it.
event_id = "espn-draftkings:espn:NBA:401909925" # illustrative
if event_id.startswith("espn-draftkings:espn:"):
espn_event = event_id.rsplit(":", 1)[1]
print(espn_event) # pass as event_id on /api/v1/stats/*Check the recorded data
