DraftKings sportsbook data API

Read stored DraftKings-attributed ESPN mainline prices with explicit event state, signed lines and capture provenance.

What is supplied

As of 2026-11-03, native sportsbook scopes cover New York NFL, NHL, college basketball and college football game lines and New York NHL Shots on Goal, points, assists, saves, goalscorers, power-play points and first-period shots. Read snapshots and streamed changes through the sportsbook endpoints. ESPN-attributed DraftKings moneyline, spread and total observations are also available across eight leagues. Current scope inventory is listed at /api/v1/sportsbook/scopes. The adapter covers NBA, NFL, NHL, NCAAF, NCAAB, MLB, EPL and MLS. This is bounded observed coverage, not a complete sportsbook feed. Separately attributed retained samples can also exist, so inspect provenance on each record.

Read events before prices

Use /api/v1/events for event identities and /api/v1/odds for prices. Filter by sport, event_id and, for odds, market. Join on event_id. event_status is pre, in, post or unknown. A post-game quotation is historical, not an executable offer.

Read moneyline, spread and total rows

Price is separate from line. A moneyline row has an American price and a null line. A spread row keeps the explicit signed source line for home or away. A total row uses over or under with the source total.

spreadhome or awaySigned, for example 2.5Present, for example -110
totalover or underThe total, for example 43.5Present, for example -115

Rows also carry decimal, period, observed_at, source_updated_at, provenance, age_seconds and stale. Never infer the favorite from a price, and never fill in a missing opposite side. Treat line and decimal as numeric strings that need parsing: Postgres numerics arrive as strings on current rows, while nested history payloads hold numbers.

Source boundaries

source_updated_at stays null because the venue price clock is unknown. observed_at is a capture clock. Rows report stale: true after 15 minutes without a fresh observation. The adapter accepts only the unambiguous DraftKings provider snapshot and valid explicit prices.

/api/v1/history contains retained observations, ordered by seq, each with the offer payload nested under data. /api/v1/coverage describes stored coverage. Inspect status before relying on a snapshot.

Questions

Does the sportsbook dataset include player props?

As of 2026-11-03, native sportsbook scopes cover New York NFL, NHL, college basketball and college football game lines and New York NHL Shots on Goal, points, assists, saves, goalscorers, power-play points and first-period shots. Can I place a bet from a returned price?

No. These are stored evaluation observations, not executable offers. Completed-game rows are historical quotations. This service does not place or recommend bets.

How do I tell which side of a spread a row describes?

Read the side field, which is home or away, and the signed line on that same row. Do not derive the opposite side; read its own row if one was observed.
