Why does a row say stale: true?
The row's last observation is more than 15 minutes old. Retained rows stay readable after collection moves on or a partial capture misses them. A stale row is older evidence, not an error and not a current offer. Check age_seconds on the row and the status page.

Common causes
Collection rotates through selected categories, so a stat can wait its turn. A source 403 or 429 starts a cooldown of at least one hour. A game may also have finished, so its rows no longer refresh. Decide per use case whether to hide, label or drop stale rows.

What does a 503 or an empty page mean?A 503 means storage or a dataset is not available. An empty page means the query matched nothing. Neither should be read as zero offers.
