What should I do about a 429?
A 429 means your account's minute or monthly limit was reached. The message does not say which and no Retry-After header is sent. Wait for the next UTC minute and try once. If it still fails, the monthly allowance is spent until the next UTC month, or you can upgrade.

Limits apply across all keys, so a second key does not add capacity. Pace requests below your per-minute limit, cache responses and stop a job at a set request budget. Legacy accounts reset on their daily contract instead of the month, and the dashboard shows the active terms.
