What DraftKings data can you get through an API today?

Before you write a client, it helps to know what is actually stored. This service keeps observations of three separate DraftKings products and a set of independent statistics. They have different meanings and different limits, so a sensible integration starts by choosing the dataset and only then choosing the endpoint.

The four datasets

A read-only query of the observation tables at 19:24 UTC on November 3, 2026 returned the figures below. They age immediately. They show the scale and shape of the data on that date, and they are not a coverage promise. Current numbers are on the status page and at /api/v1/coverage.

The gap between 11,168 rows and 3,552 pickable IDs is the first thing to design for. A market row is an offer, not an athlete, so one player can appear many times across stats and alternative targets. Count rows when you mean rows, and join on identity when you mean people.

Sportsbook scope

As of 2026-11-03, native sportsbook scopes cover New York NFL, NHL, college basketball and college football game lines and New York NHL Shots on Goal, points, assists, saves, goalscorers, power-play points and first-period shots. Read snapshots and streamed changes through the sportsbook endpoints. ESPN-attributed DraftKings moneyline, spread and total observations are also available across eight leagues. Check this sentence again when you read it, because the date matters. Sportsbook collection is an area of active work, and the status page reflects what is actually collected at the time you check.

Statistics scope

Independent ESPN statistics cover NBA, NFL and NHL as limited retained game samples, not full seasons. As of 2026-11-03 those samples were captured after the games were played, so they do not show what was known at game time.

Check what is fresh, not just what exists

Retained is not the same as current. In two reads taken minutes apart that afternoon, the count of Pick6 rows captured in the previous 15 minutes moved from 2,568 to 383, because collection rotates through selected categories. Every row carries age_seconds and stale, and rows are flagged stale after 15 minutes without a fresh observation. Read those fields row by row, and treat the status page as the source for collection health.

What this service does not do

• It does not establish that a stored row can still be selected on DraftKings.
• It is not a complete board, and a missing row is not a result.
